The practical
small print.
Tickets and event registrations
Tickets for showcases, workshops and events are non-transferable and non-refundable. If you do not come, the ticket is not refunded.
Classes and miniseries
Membership, workshop and miniseries fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. They are fixed amounts and cannot be divided. Missed lessons or sessions are not refunded.
Medical exception: after an absence of at least five weeks with a valid medical certificate, you may request to freeze a membership or miniseries registration and transfer it to another season. A transfer must be used within one year of your original start date.
If a session is cancelled
If Shoonya Dance Centre cancels a class, workshop or miniseries session, you get a replacement or a rescheduled session.
Where you actually pay
ABC does not take payment on this site. Registrations and tickets are handled at Shoonya Dance Centre — through shoonyadance.com and its registration system — and this policy is the one that applies there.
Some dates are sold by the festival or venue hosting them, through their own box office. Those sales run under that organiser’s terms, not these, so check theirs before you buy.
Force majeure and administration
Two different situations, kept apart on purpose. If you cannot come — a no-show, a missed lesson, a change of plan — the fee is not refunded. If we cancel a class, workshop or session, you get a replacement or a rescheduled session.
In the event of force majeure — war, uprising, fire and the like — refunds are not possible.
Where a refund is granted as an exception, an administration fee of €25 is deducted from the amount refunded.
